Thelocactus bicolor, also known as the Glory of Texas, is a captivating cactus species native to the Chihuahuan Desert of Texas and Mexico. This cactus is a show stopper with mix of central and radial spines adding the look of extra hieght and width to the plant. These spines vary in colour from yellow to reddish-brown. This cactus produces large funnel-shaped flowers in spring and summer months. These flowers are  in shades of magenta, pink, or purple, with a contrasting red or yellow throat.

Like most cacti, Thelocactus bicolour thrives in bright, indirect light. It’s best to water moderately during the growing season and allow the soil to dry out completely between waterings. Using a well-draining soil mix specifically formulated for succulents or cacti will help the plant dry out quick enough to prevent any rotting.

Each living plant is unique and may vary slightly in size, colour, or shape depending on the season. Flowering plants are sent when available.

(You will receive a bare rooted plant similar to the ones in the pictures provided.)
