Philodendron Verrucosum
Philodendron verrucosum is a species of flowering plant in the family Araceae. This stunner is native to Costa Rica, Panama, Colombia, Ecuador and Peru, and is a hemiepiphyte climbing plant.
Philodendron verrucosum do best with bright to medium indirect light. Do not put it in direct light, or it could hurt the leaves. Like most philo’s water when the top inch or so of the potting mix is dry. Don’t let it totally dry out, but don’t overwater it either or you could put your plant at risk of root rot.
This plant will thrive in higher humidity levels. The easiest way to provide this is to simply use a humidifier. The Philodendron verrucosum is a vigorous climber, it’s best to give it a totem pole or support structure - this is also very beneficial to their growth.
(Please note you will receive the plant similar to the ones in the pictures provided, sent bare-rooted. Each living plant is unique and may vary slightly in size, colour or shape.)
