Mammillaria candida
Mammillaria candida has a dense snowy white, appears that the body is hidden by spines, hence why it’s commonly known as The Snowball Cactus. It is a popular species for its overall shape and look. It’s a clumping species that produces many offsets all each grow to be around 10-12cm across. In late winter this species puts in a show producing a crown of cream flowers.
Like most cacti, Mammillaria candida thrives in bright, indirect light. It’s best to water moderately during the growing season and allow the soil to dry out completely between waterings. Using a well-draining soil mix specifically formulated for succulents or cacti will help the plant dry out quick enough to prevent any rotting.
Each living plant is unique and may vary slightly in size, colour, or shape depending on the season. Flowering plants are sent when available.
(you will receive a bare rooted plant similar to the ones in the pictures provided.)
