Lobivia schieliana is a dwarf compact species known for its stunning large flowers and short dense downward curved spines resembling scorpions. This cactus is native to areas of Bolivia and Peru.
The spherical to cylindrical, dark green shoots reach heights of up to 4.5cm with diameters of 3.5cm making it very compact. Each stem has between 13 to 21 ribs. In spring and summer months it produces large flowers approximately 6cm in diameter in shades ranging from red to yellow.
Each living plant is unique and may vary slightly in size, colour, or shape depending on the season. Flowering plants are sent when available.
