Lobivia arachnacantha (Red Form) is a captivating, small, cluster-forming native to areas of Bolivia. This cacti is also classified as Echinopsis ancistrophora subsp. arachnacantha depending on literature. However, the species name "arachnacantha" comes from the Greek for "with spider web-shaped spines” which is a very good way to describe the spines on these plants. It has dark reddish-green body, spidery spines and beautiful spectacular flowers. Flowers appear in mid to late spring and often keep producing new blooms until mid to late summer.

Each living plant is unique and may vary slightly in size, colour, or shape depending on the season. Flowering plants are sent when available.
